Reading Like Children

It is absolutely amazing how children’s activities can bring back the best memories. Friday, my roommate and I went to Hastings to return a movie and we ended up in the Children’s books. We started reading some of our favorite childhood books and sat on the floor of Hastings for almost an hour. While I was reading If You Give a Pig a Pancake, Molly was busy reading Paddington Bear. It was actually, bizarrely fun and we ended up laughing the whole time. After reading our favorite books, we noticed how strange new children’s books can be. We found a book called Pigeon Poop which was all about a pigeon pooping on a town and we laughed at how weird the entire book was. Although we were probably entertained easily because we were extremely tired, doing something as simple as reading children’s books turned into a small adventure that gave us something to laugh at and talk about in the future.
